Everything you need to know

"Good leaders make people feel that they're at the very heart of things, not at the periphery. Everyone feels that he or she makes a difference to the success of the organization. When that happens people feel centered and that gives their work meaning."

Many people always think about spirituality to be related to religion, but religion is just one of the ways to experience spirituality. It is the answer to the most sought after question about the life, the universe and everything and for many it is a way to find happiness in life and inner peace. Putting it in the terms of religion, it is the way to find God, or to search for the Absolute, or the ultimate conscious for the ones who are less dogmatic.

The most amazing aspect of spirituality is that it overlaps many disciplines, it is well embedded part of theology, anthropology, psychology, sociology, parapsychology, religious studies and so on. This does not end here, there are people from scientific communities who believe strongly in spiritualism. Some physicists believe that universe is not the product of matter but a result of universal consciousness, due to which everything we know exists. On the other hand there are societies that debate over combining scientific techniques to religious perspective.

The most sought after way of achieving spiritualism is through religion. Probably, because of its enigmatic way of explaining and giving meaning and purpose to one's life. People choose different spiritual paths according to their culture and religion mostly to find inner peace or to achieve higher state of consciousness to seek God. Many religious practices like prayers, fasting and meditation are ways to achieve peace and happiness to the inner self, some believe that these practices can cure diseases and prolong healthy life. If one does not believe in such practices, it is still essential to understand the foundation of happiness which comprises of managing and understanding of thoughts and emotions. Those who are not able to manage thoughts and emotions end up being socially inept, unhappy and get confused about things in their lives going the wrong way even after trying hard and doing it right.

People who blindly follow a guru or some sects end up being destroyed. There are many cases in these world where this has happened, many fall victims to these gurus and sects for example The Heaven's gate mass suicide in San Diego, California, people died believing some one blindly. Unknowingly people destroy their lives and not to mention the pain they cause to their loved ones. There are many more incidents where people have sacrificed a lot from their lives and others who touch them. Spirituality cant be achieved by thinking in absolutes. It is most certain that happiness cannot be achieved by blindly following a path and destroying lives. Spirituality is more about achieving peace and harmony in our lives and others that touch us.

The fact is that a human needs to be spiritual, some how only worldly possessions are not simply the answer to happiness. There are no perfect spiritual paths that guarantees absolute success in finding what a person seeks through it. The remedy to this is to have faith in which ever path is chosen. There are questions to be asked to one's self about what brings them the most closer to their spiritual goal, and embark on the journey to find the answers. Spiritualism gives a person reason to live, a goal that gives peace to their souls for eternity.
